I am convinced that, despite being a smoker, Felicia is in phenomenal shape. She'd have to be after all the running she has to do...

Goodbye, Mr. Veritas-guy. We hardly knew ya!

Oh, here's some delicious irony:

Unlike those other nasty incidents that Fabs is referring to (below), Felicia is on her home turf in Wellington Park--and she's on guard. Ms. Kingsley has more than a passing knowledge of where the fences, sight lines, surveillance cameras, and other assorted obstacles are, she already had an escape route or two planned out, and any running will be of short duration to clear the immediate area of the rendezvous--and it will be neither aimless or lead to a dead end.

Anyways, that's my take on the character...

That all sounds like things she would have learned from a master spy... :)

It's surprisingly often that Felicia ends up running for her life...

(Has she ever considered quitting her job, becoming a professional athlete, and winning a few gold medals in sprinting?)

But how many times does she actually get away?

And that's when you know your in the shit. When guys be getting capped for some light "information sharing". It's enough to make a story go from ridiculous to plausibly ridiculous.

This profoundly sadens me that he goes out like this, in a hail of fire at the hands of villains. So long random park at night shades wearing guy. You will be missed!

Yeah, I was going to make a crack about wearing sunglasses at night, but it didn't make the final cut.

July the 4th, a holiday celebrated by launching munitions to commemorate a nation born in a war involving much launching of more munitions. Boom!

Also, if Felicia does a lot of running I'm surprised she has a smoking habit. There aren't too many people who do a lot of smoking and running.

Felicia's more of a... sprinter.

Unfortunately, she's signed up for a (metaphorical) marathon.

Let's hope for his sake that Veritas-guy has enough Kevlar for this and that none of those assholes can pull off a headshot
Chippewa Ghost 5th Jul 2017, 10:51 PM edit delete reply

He's certainly got the padding... but kevlar or PCP or sheer cussedness alone don't win the day against overwhelming force...

I think the running/smoking thing is just a question of motivation. Blam blam blam is a pretty strong motivator!
