Of course. "Pandora" is Tona. I feel dumb.

I suddenly have an inkling where you might be going with all of this (or at least, how I would write it from here...)

Love the "Leeroy Jenkins" callback. :)

Hey, Prof. Back from the outskirts of Hell and man, I need to get back on the horse.

Feel free to drop me a PM/email with your suspicions--I don't have even the (next) next page written and I'd love to hear your speculation.

The new thumbnail image is deceptively kinder/gentler than it used to be, isn't it?

Apparently I need to push the expanded image. Swatikas are the external sign of internal sickness, like a rash or pustule. Their concealment isn't evidence of health...

Hmm... Regarding Tona's "true allegiance" to Eric, the question here is: Has this guy actually some insight into Tona's psyche - or is he just speculating?

Should sort that out within a week or so!

Ohhh... I'm wondering the same as Fabian... Tona sure didn't seem too keen on him in recent times... Sadly!

Tona's of mixed feelings when it comes to Eric... pick a couple and turn the dial to 11.

Those who make peaceful change impossible will make violent revolution inevitable. - John F. Kennedy
History repeats itself, first as tragedy, second as farce. - Karl Marx
I suppose it is tempting, if the only tool you have is a hammer, to treat everything as if it were a nail. - Abraham Maslow

When the machine gun was invented, people hoped that the horror of its use in WWI would make that the last war ever fought. I wonder what it will take to get people to stop accepting the manufacturers of weapons as not complicit in what they get used for.

Yeah, the NSA kinda screwed up when they left the barn door open on their zero day stockpile... but if you're referring to more mundane maliciousness, the NRA would be tops in my book for institutionalized cowardice. I mean shit, be proud of the blood on your hands!

I had a feeling that it was something like this. Tona has been portrayed as entirely gung-ho about her officialunofficial mission that it seems out-of-character for her. IMHO, all she wants in life is to live in peace with Trinity (and Eric, if possible) and NOT BE BOTHERED by her former masters.

Of course, her current "master" will have to be taken out, along with his appointed sycophants (old white men making decisions on women's health, medi-"who cares", etc) in order to excise the rot.

Sometimes greatness knocks on your front door.

Sometimes greatness drives a garbage truck through your backyard.

I hope I can do justice to Tona's eventual fate.

Pandora may be an apt code-name here in so far as it was probably best not to open the box in the first place. But I can't believe that Tona will just slash and burn everything, even in alliegence to Eric. She has her own motives sure, and capitulating on the opportunity she's been given. I think she's playing a long game.

Tona's a far better Machiavellian than she gets credit for. But maybe that's not saying much, because prior to this volume hardly anyone outside of her friends (and constituents) gave her much credit at all.

Now, whether slash-and-burn is off the table, I wouldn't be so quick to judge on that one either...
