Stellar action shot.

Her fist looks powered up for a good "hello".

A fun fact about the Hawaiian language: Aloha means "hello" and "goodbye".

He’s pretty chill about it though. I guess he’s gotten a few hellos in his time!

Yeah, this probably isn't the right time to get all introspective, Captain!

Of course, we're still in Autumn Bay so lightning hands are commonplace, right?

When [fill in the blank] weapons aren't kosher, the locals will always find a way to increase the effect of those weapons that are allowed.

"Electric knuckles", "shock gauntlets", "Tyson tasers", etc. make for much shorter fistfights...

Yeah, I was somehow expecting Tona's side to make use of some false-flag operations: Guy Fawkes masks are too easy a disguise not to use them. What surprises me is that Happy's opsec is so poor Elektra could get this close. You'd think someone who'd survived this kind of shit for so long would be a little bit more rigorous about such things, but maybe her local knowledge and her supporting team are that good.

I am surprised about something here though: Do they really want him alive? Top secret dungeons aren't cheap, and it's difficult to imagine what they want him back for unless he was a double-agent "renegade" all along.

1) Ellen Greco thought she was made, so she went high-and-right.

2a) Captain's been spinning up all sorts of "reserve" troops for this confrontation. Guess he got a little sloppy.

2b) Ellen Greco is from Autumn Bay and knows her way around the gangs. Given three months (it's roughly that between these chapters) she should have been able to work her way into Farrell's Row subculture enough to get an invite to the big dance.

3) Ha ha ha considering the Valkyries' usual M.O. when it comes their targets (i.e. outright murder) that is a little suspicious. And you are not the only one who has serious misgivings about that plan.

I can see it, three months is a very long time in some gang-culture scenes, and an eyeblink in a lot of other, different milieus. It does make sense Happy would suffer the negatives of gangbanger time scale if that's the level he's operating at and recruiting in.

Whoa! :-0

Captain Happy does look remarkably calm here though.
Either that split-second didn't give him enough time yet to realize the situation he is in, or he has already prepared... countermeasures.

Don't worry, he's going to be real, real relaxed in a moment--see next page.
