Director Corbin Shelby and Agent Carter Lake courtesy of Professor Etheric's Shroud. Because sometimes there's simply no room for negotiations.

***

Probably going to stick with 8:01 pm EST. Need to nail down this time change, however.

hesitation, half measures, or human decency... always be suspicious when the big boss cuts your supervisor out of the loop...

A lock on the file cabinet! That there's a nice touch.

1) Ha ha ha yep, that's always the sign of an impending charlie foxtrot.

2) I moved that dang background image specifically so the word bubbles wouldn't hide that little detail!

Cater Lake. When you absolutely, positively have to kill ever last mother frogger in the room, accept no substitutes. :)

They guide your eye right to it -- dialogue balloons as a scene element! Or, how I learned to stop worrying and love the words...

Neither Simo Häyhä nor Rob Furlong will do as substitutes for Carter Lake?

AC, those are some fascinating snipers, but really, if you wanna talk ballistic weapons that's this guy. And no, I suppose that Grigori hasn't been given a real chance to go toe-to-toe with Carter Lake. Maybe somewhere out in Volume 6 or 7 that might be in the cards... better hang on, Prof.

Simo was also a SMG-shooter, apparently he got hundreds that way too. But alright, consider Carter Lake fully hyped.

I don't know enough about these people or what their mandate is to guess whether Tona, Captain Happy, former-Chuck, or someone else entirely is their primary target. I can only predict chaos as a likely result of attempting to kill any of those three by gunfire, whether it works or not.
Chippewa Ghost 6th Nov 2017, 8:20 AM edit delete reply
Chippewa Ghost
You're correct with your assessment of possible targets, and of tactical methodology.

My guess is Eric...
anonymous coward 6th Nov 2017, 7:08 PM edit delete reply
we don't know Eric is involved yet. He might be somewhere else entirely (reference http://valkyries.thecomicseries.com/comics/96/ which may not be in the US) and last we saw he was far more interested in a different ex than he was in Tona. He does seem to have a nose for chaos in general though, and he may yet ambush, kidnap, or rescue someone in this mess.

I would laugh if it turned out Eric wasn't anywhere near Autumn Bay, and we see him watching video of the action with a bowl of popcorn.

Better break out the popcorn...

Well, that didn't take long. They're already getting out the big guns.

Yeah, that gun definitely doesn't look like a "half" measure. XD

Hey, don't knock pump action shotguns! In the hands of a master gunman, they can fire as fast as a semi automatic!
AmeliaP 16th Nov 2017, 3:23 PM edit delete reply
AmeliaP
Nope, I wasn't knock a pump shotgun :) (I agree, they can be as fast as a semi automatic, but its range isn't the same.).
