And now I wonder if they have a file for everytime Sam's banged someone. Then again they probably don't appreciate their hard drives exploding

I think that the Smileys probably had to draw straws drew for that internet search... it wouldn't be hard drives, it would be eyes exploding.

Okay, I couldn't wait until Sunday... You added a nice new thumbnail for your series :)

I bet "stumbling upon a sex tape showing myself" was on Sam's "things to do before I die" list...

Charles Stross has expected, for many years, that the internet and augmented intelligence (computers keeping track of stuff for us) will eventually mean the end of privacy. What happens if official secrets and PR lies don't work anymore because the truth is too easy to get at to be suppressed?

The Russians have shown us that just because the truth is out there doesn't mean people will believe it when presented with a more convenient lie.

Also many other cases--atheists might claim the same of all religion--but secrets and disinformation are still standard techniques of control both in and out of government. It's a fair point that counter-narrative disinformation is often not as crippled by the availability of truth as one might hope, but for the moment a lot of opsec, authentication, sales pitches to the gullible, and just plain everyday operation relies on secrets.

I mean, it's a risk we all take.

...

I mean, a risk that Sam took.

What a bunch of assholes amirite? What the man does in his own private trailer is his business. (Now if Sam wants to release his sex tape on his own, go do it I say. Paris Hilton's been living off the steam of that shit since forever now. "Reality" TV might suit Sam down to the ground come to think).

That "in the sky" line got me thinking of those micro cameras being worked on with the intention of spreading them in dust particles, so that they can watch everything.

Per the formula these are the "bad guys", so yeah, being bitches with some else's bits would fall into their M.O.

I bet the folks assigned to having to actually watch those tapes sure had fun...

I've checked the link out (let it ride, Vol.4). Wow, man, how can you create more than one series and keep a good quality? o__o. You know, it's impressive! (No matter if you draw in a stylized aesthetic, it's still impressive.).

You have a unique style. It makes me think... Is there an artist who inspired your art style?

I had more time to work on Volume 4, but obviously I didn't know as much and couldn't work as fast as I do now.

Long ago, Sinfest and Penny Arcade were originally what I was aiming at art wise. Obviously I've moved on.

Sam Christianos, welcome to the motherfuggin' panopticon.

The thing is, though a lot of people fear it, in a Big Brother sort of way, you're hitting the nail on the head here. It's one of the greatest tools of we the people against corruption and institutional deceit.

TL;DR We can see Them, too.

Sam's reaction is a bit euphoric for someone dishing that they are spying on everyone doing everything...
